The Ascent Save File Location (Steam)

Here is where you can find this new game's save file

The Ascent is a new action-shooter RPG game developed by Neon Giant. You play as a gun-shooting creature-killing worker who was owned by a company that just shut down in a cyber-punk city. Sounds fun? It was for many players including critical reviewers; gaining a score of 84 from PC Gamer. A lot of people were even comparing it to Cyberpunk 2077, that this game is what Cyberpunk should have been. We will let you figure that one out. For now, this guide will tell you where to find The Ascent Save File Location.

The game does support Steam Cloud Saves. So if you manage to accidentally lose your save file, or reset windows without making a backup of your save file, then you can trust that Steam still has it for you as a backup and you won’t lose any progress you made in the game. But if you still want to find the local save file then keep reading.

You could need the save document to perhaps erase it on the off chance that it got damaged or to introduce a few mods. In the event that under any circumstance, you need to have your savefile with you in your grasp then you can follow the steps mentioned below.

  • Open File Explorer. You can open it by searching “File Explorer” in the Start menu. It’s also usually pinned to your Taskbar.
