Recently, Microsoft released free major update i.e. Windows 8.1 for metro-styled Windows 8. Now as Windows 8.1 is just 2 months old and we have started to hear about Microsoft’s next major release WINDOWS 9. Windows 9 is expected to release in April of next year and there are a lot of features we may see in Windows 9. Like according to some rumors, Windows 8 Metro apps will be able to Windowed in desktop mode. So that you’ll be able to minimize, close or maximize those Windows as you do with normal desktop Windows.
Windows 8 was released 2 years ago in October 2012. It introduced a complete new Start Screen and start menu was absent. Windows Store was introduced along with Windows 8 with a lot of free and paid apps. Many of the users loved the new start screen but some of them did not like the new experience provided by Windows 8. Windows 8.1 was then released exactly after a year. Microsoft broughtSstart button back in this version of Windows but Start menu was still absent. Later, a new concept came regarding Windows 8.2. The new concept shows the Start Menu back and a new Metro Desktop.
However, still not confirmed whether Windows 8.2 will come before Windows 9 or Microsoft will focus only on WINDOWS 9. Regarding all such news, we need to wait bit more!
