Gears of War 4 came out exclusively on the Xbox One and Windows 10 back in 2016 and was somewhat of a mixed bag. While it was critically well received, most people sort of forgot about it and it didn’t have the lasting impact previous entries did. Now it seems that the Gears 5 Box Art and Release Date has been leaked on a Taiwanese Rating Site.

According to the listing, here’s the official box art for the game
Gears 5 Release Date
According to the listing, the game is headed to Xbox One and Xbox One X on 10th September 2019.
For now, take both of these with a grain of salt, as we don’t know how valid the listings are, and the box art is frankly pretty horribly put together. The release date is actually pretty believable, and the game has been announced to come out sometime this year.
Most listings like these usually have some truth to them, and maybe the box art is a placeholder, and we’ll see something different as time goes on.
Microsoft hasn’t announced the release date for the game yet, but if the leaks are starting to happen, we’ll most likely see something soon, or maybe at E3.
If the rumors are true, we’ll be getting the game in September. Here’s the reveal trailer for the game, from E3
The last game came out in October of 2016, and it’s possible that this entry will make it’s way a month later as well. We’re excited to see what Microsoft has in store for us, and this might the exclusive Xbox fans have been waiting for.
