The smartphones companies has now started releasing Android 4.3 update for their handsets. Previously we saw the arrival of update on Galaxy S3 and then on Xperia handsets. Now its turn of another Samsung smartphone!
Samsung released Galaxy S4 Active sometime after releasing original Galaxy S4 lowering down some of its specifications. It has an 8 MP Camera and Adreno 320 GPU and it came with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out of the box. There is a good news for Samsung Galaxy S4 Active users as Android 4.3 Jelly Bean is now officially available for AT&T version of Samsung Galaxy S4 Active. This is a good sign as 4.3 Jelly Bean update for international version of Galaxy S4 Active should be on its way too!
Talking about this update, Android 4.3 update brings Galaxy Gear support, Knox security, TRIM support and better RAM management and Daydream. And of course some bug fixes and improved performance!
But that is just Jelly Bean. There are still no words on Android 4.4 KitKat availability. KitKat is on its way for original Samsung Galaxy S4 and it should come to Galaxy S4 active as well. But we have to wait to see when will it come!
