This means android phone users with low specs devices such 1 GB Ram or Chinese devices can enjoy Skype without lag on their devices. Moreover, this new version is built for 2G network usage, so you don’t hang your video calls due to poor network connectivity.

It is currently available in India only but you can download the APK from here. It currently supports Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu language which is good news.
