Prey is a big three platform game (Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Windows) announced to be released on 5th May 2017. The game is developed by Arkane Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. Not to mention a previous masterpiece i.e. Dishonored provided to us by this duo in 2012.
Prey is a first-person shooting game with some elements of a role-playing game (RPG).
Plot
The main idea of the plot of Prey is actually pretty interesting. It takes place in an alternative universe, where USA’s President John F. Kennedy somehow survives the assassination attempt in 1963 and continues to approve funds for space research and exploration programs. As human race becomes more and more active in space, it draws the attention of an alien army consisting of different alien species collectively called Typhon which then attacks earth.
The big powers on earth unite to fight against this foreign threat. The big powers being led by the US make a space ship orbiting the Earth’s moon functioning as a prison of captured Typhon. Later on, there is the plot of U.S.S.R being divided and the US being the only owner of the spaceship where it sets up research centers for experimenting on the different species from Typhon.
The open world for you, thus, is basically this space station. You might have to visit the same location of space station multiple times while moving through the story.
Prey Gameplay
You play the game as a human Morgan Yu. Exploring the space station, you will fight unimaginable threats which you will fight using your weapons and abilities which are derived from Typhon itself. You can also move around the space station using shortcuts which might make you get out in zero gravity space.
The RPG elements I talked about in the opening description of the game include character customization in the beginning as well as multiple endings of the game based on the decision you make during the game.

Prey’s official system requirements are not yet launched, but according to gamedebate, these will be the minimum system requirements:
