Piano Tiles: Don’t tap the white tile (for Android) in Review

Piano Tiles - Don't hit the white tile

All of us want something entertaining when we are bored or don’t have anything to do (same thing). Some go for music, some for sports and the list goes on. But there are some people who would prefer to stay right where they are and play something on their Android Smartphone. We might just have the proper game for you, Piano Tiles. Yes you heard it right.

Piano Tiles might sound funny by its name, but it is one of many addictive games. It is not only addictive but challenges your mind to beat itself every time you play it. The visual exercise is a plus too. The game has a good rating and deserves one too.

Gameplay

The gameplay of Piano Tiles is fairly simple. There is only one rule that needs to be followed, and that is “Don’t Tap The White Tile”.

The game has different game modes and thus different animations or flow of the tiles. There are some modes in which the tile will only move if and only if you hit a black tile (colors can be changed, although that will be discussed later). And then there are modes in which the tiles will keep on moving with or without you hitting any.

The game has the following modes

  • Classic
  • Arcade
  • Zen
  • Rush
  • Relay
  • Arcade+
  • Friends

Every game mode has been furthered subdivided into more options, normally the difficulty or in “Arcade+” case, there are different rules of the subdivisions.

Options

Piano Tiles has a number of options in the “More” section. You can view your Profile which keeps the record of number of times a game has been played, high scores and tiles collected individually in different modes.

Other than that, you can also change the theme by changing the colors of the (by default) black tiles to a number of colors in the “Theme” section. And many other options are available.

Bugs

Piano Tiles is a fairly well developed game and we encountered no bugs while playing the game.
