The release of upcoming iPhone 6 is just few days far. As told earlier, Apple is set to unveil iPhone 6 and iWatch in September 9 Event. Prior to that, we are now getting updates regarding iPhone 6 on daily basis. A new rumor suggests that the new iPhone will come with a lightning cable that includes a reversible USB plug!
With the help of reversible lightning cable, it’s time to free yourself off to find the ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ side. You will be able to plug either sides in either ports. No more need to fiddle around! Recently, a USB Promotor Group announced the design for new type C reversible USB plug too.
The rumor has leaked by an Australian blogger Sonny Dickson who is well known for having reliable info regarding Apple devices. According to the blogger, the new reversible lightning cable will bring the orientation flexibility to both ends of the cable.
Apple has already the patent filed regarding reversible or dual orientation USB plug connectors in 2013. This will definitely help in reducing USB connector damage and user frustration. The design also suggests the USB connector will be compatible with all existing and future USB ports.
