Apple releases iTunes 11.4, adds support for iOS 8

Last night, Apple carried out a massive launch event. The much anticipated Apple wearable iWatch was unveiled along with iPhone 6 and a brand new payment solution i.e. Apple Pay. Now, Apple has released iTunes 11.4. It is a minor update with one significant function i.e. iOS 8 support.

As we know, Apple has seeded iOS 8 GM build to developers ahead of the public availability on 17th September. Therefore, the update was mandatory to test the new iOS. iTunes 11.4 enables syncing with iOS 8. The new iTunes make it possible to sync music, movies and other content from your Mac to iPhone with newly installed iOS 8 GM.

Recently, iTunes 12 beta version was also released. However, a number of bugs have been reported. Therefore, Apple has pushed a stable iTunes 11.4 update. The update is for Yosemite users as well.
