Now, to make the process simple, the Cupertino has brought a handy tool. The tool will check Activation Lock status of iOS devices. This will help you in restraining from buying an activation locked device. So, how to use the tool and check out whether the iOS device is locked or not? Here are the steps:
- Visit iCloud.com/ActivationLock.
- Enter the IMEI or Serial Number of iOS device.
- Enter the CAPTCHA.
- Press CONTINUE.
The tool will afterwards indicate whether the device is locked or not. If it’s NOT, a green light will be shown, suggesting you to go with your purchase.
