BlackBerry launched BlackBerry Classic with trackpad and physical QWERTY

After a long time BlackBerry made a smart move. It officially announced and launched its long rumored BlackBerry classic with trackpad and there is traditional BlackBerry physical QWERTY keyboard too.

BlackBerry Classic is the successor to one of the best selling BlackBerry phones, BlackBerry Bold 9900. It comes with latest BlackBerry 10.3.1 Operating System. Display size is 3.5 inch with 720×720 screen resolution. Display has a corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

BlackBerry Classic comes with a dual-core 1.5 GHz Krait processor and Adreno 225 GPU. Internal storage is 16 GB which is further expandable up to 128 GB with a Micro SD card. It comes with 2 Gigs of RAM which is more than enough for smooth multitasking on a BlackBerry smartphone. There are two cameras. A rear 8 MP camera with a LED flash, Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR and panorama support. And a front facing 2 MP camera. Rear camera is capable of recording 1080p@30fps videos. Unfortunately 4K videos are still not supported. It also has a squarish trackpad.

BlackBerry classic also supports Android apps via Amazon Appstore. So you wont run out of apps now. The smartphone is availabe to buy now for $449 through Amazon and Blackberry. It is also available around the world through local carriers.
