Apple iWatch may launch at WWDC 2014

Previously we covered detailed information about Apple iWatch, its specification and design. As we know most of the tech companies have already came up with wrist watches so why Apple stays behind. Though it is believed that Apple iWatch will be sort of like ‘Designer Watch’.

It is believed that iWatch will cost up to several thousand dollars.  But also, it will include health sensors like heart rate scanners, blood pressure and other stuff. Apple iWatch will boast 3-4 days battery time. iWatch will be fully iOS and will support most of Apple devices.

PocketLint indicates that Apple will announce iWatch at WWDC this year. And then start selling it in September. If Apple does this then it will be no surprise. Looking at history, you will find such events. Apple did same with iPhone and iPad launch. Selling Apple iWatch in September will give time to buyers to think and consider about it.

Another reason of launch is iOS 8. As we know iOS 8 will bring new fitness features and apps so a supporting companion (device) should also be there. Though we have not seen any device leaks yet. Still there is time in WWDC so maybe we will see a leak soon.

Moreover, iPhone 6 is also launching this year and will also come with Apple iWatch support. The new iPhone 6 will also come with sensors just as Samsung Galaxy S5. There is also a slight chance that Apple may launch combination of iPhone 6 and iWatch just like Galaxy Note 3 and Samsung Galaxy Gear which may result in increase in sale of both devices.

For now all we can do is to wait and actively look for leaks and rumors about iPhone 6 and iWatch. Don’t forget to share your thoughts via comment. Till then, Stay Tuned.
